The program will contribute to improve the supply of basic education for the children from poor families targeted through those receiving the Bono Diez Mil conditional cash transfer. The specific objectives include: i) increase acess to preschool to improve this population’s school readiness; ii) improve basic education quality through flexible school hours and modalities that increase grade promotion, and reduce inter-annual desertion; iii) improve reading and mathematics competencies; iv) install educational models that improve non-cognitive skills including those that use technology intensively from the second cycle of basic education onwards.
